Using United Flier Miles to Purchase Inflight Wi-Fi
Traveling in a metal tube has become far more advanced today.
With the need to stay connected to the globe despite the journey time, airlines
have invested a lot of their energies to facilitate their fliers with the Wi-Fi.
JetBlue and Virgin Airlines are some of the American carriers who have plunged
into it already.
To give more options to their passengers, United lets airline
carriers purchase Wi-Fi against their air miles. Although this allows many more
people to avail this opportunity, there are still many shortcomings to it. Even
with this facility, there won’t be Wi-Fi for everyone since not many would be
able to afford the services. This is unfortunate especially because everyone
would want to stay connected when they’re flying high. Secondly, it is
important to keep in consideration that this won’t be a cheaper option. Since
the Wi-Fi offered will be far more costly than the regular ones, you’d have to
lose a handful of air miles to avail it. However, despite all the shortcomings,
it is still a great step in the right direction. For people working on
deadlines and hoping to make the most of their time in the plane, it is a must.
If you are traveling with a child who needs to be constantly entertained, it is
ideal. There is so much you can possibly do with this amazing facility!
