Air travel is becoming common with each passing day and the aviation industry is growing at a rapid pace. With ever increasing passenger traffic, there is now a need for larger airports. Listed below are the biggest airports in the world.

Beijing Capital International Airport
Located to the Northeast of Beijing, the Beijing Capital International Airport is one of the busiest airports of the world in terms of passenger traffic. It is not only huge in size but beautifully constructed as well. The airport is spread across 2330 hectares.

Cairo International Airport
Spread across an area of 2550 hectares, the CairoInternational Airport is located to the Northeast of Egypt. It is the primary hub for major airlines such as AMC Airlines, Egypt Air and Alexandria Airlines. The airport has three big terminals to accommodate the heavy passenger traffic.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport
The Chicago O’Hare International Airport is the third busiest airport in United States and the sixth busiest in the world. It located to the northeast side of Chicago. It is the second largest hub for United Airlines, Air Choice One and American Airlines.

King Fahd Airport
The King Fahd Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arab is also one of the largest airports of the world. It covers an area of 3.675 Hectares.

Madrid Barajas
This huge airport caters to 41 million passengers annually. It is located to the Northeast of Puerto Del.
