The Oasis in the Desert

Dubai is perhaps one of the greatest tourist cities in the world. This ultramodern city is full of amazing feats of architecture, gargantuan malls and amazing beaches. It is a city which is in a perpetual state of party and is perfect for a short getaway. In this Dubai Travel Guide we go over where to stay and what to do in this paradise on sand after you get there using Emirates Air Miles – they offer a class above the rest, much like Dubai.

Dubai is full of hotels which cater for every wallet. If you seek a more luxurious stay then head on to the Vida Downtown Dubai which costs $240. Of course there are other ultra-luxury options if you have the budget for them. The famous Burj ul Arab among them.

Dubai is a cultural landmine and hence has many museums and art exhibits for one to see. For contemporary art go to JamJar museum (which also has a DIY painting studio). For history lovers, Dubai Museum is the place to go which details the city’s past.

In addition there are certain things which are only unique to Dubai. For example take the largest building in the World – the Burj Khalifa and the world’s largest mall (by size), the Dubai Mall. Another interesting attraction is Sky Dubai, an indoor ski resort which is a great place to take your family to. Take a desert safari, or bungee jump at various places to fulfill your adventure lust. Also enjoy some of the best cuisine in the world.
